Got Questions?
Everything you need to know about booking Tate & Ivory for your event.
We're based in the Kansas City metro area and serve events throughout the region including Kansas City, MO, Kansas City, KS, and surrounding communities. If your event is outside the metro, reach out — we may be able to accommodate with a travel fee.
We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance, especially for wedding season (April–October). Popular dates fill up quickly, so the sooner you reach out, the better chance we can secure your date.
Our pricing is hourly. Choose the number of hours that fits your event when you book. If you need additional time on the day of your event, extra hours can be added on-site at your package's hourly rate, subject to availability. Every package includes a professional attendant, setup/breakdown, photography images, lighting, digital sharing, and an online gallery delivered within 48 hours.
We typically need a space of about 8 x 10 feet for a standard photo booth setup. For flower wall and custom styling setups, we may need a bit more. We'll confirm space requirements with you during the planning process and can adapt to your venue.
Yes! Every package includes a curated prop selection. We keep our props fresh, fun, and event-appropriate — from classic wedding signs to party accessories. For The Ivory package, props are selected to coordinate with your event's theme and colors.
Guests receive instant downloads on the spot and can instantly share digital copies via text or email right from the booth. After your event, a full online gallery is delivered within 48 hours so everyone can download and share their favorites.
Yes, we need access to a standard electrical outlet within reasonable distance of the setup area. If your event is outdoors or power access is limited, let us know and we'll plan accordingly — we have portable power solutions available.
We arrive 60–90 minutes before your event to set up and test everything. Setup and breakdown are included in your package — it's completely hands-off for you. We handle it all quietly and professionally so you can focus on your guests.
We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is outlined in the service agreement you'll receive during booking. Generally, deposits are non-refundable as they secure your date, but we're always happy to discuss rescheduling options.
Yes! We can set up outdoors as long as there's a covered area or tent to protect the equipment from direct sunlight, wind, and weather. We'll discuss logistics during the planning process to make sure everything runs smoothly.
We accept payments via Stripe (credit/debit cards) and Apple Pay. A retainer deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due before your event. You'll receive a secure payment link — no cash or checks needed.
